HP Linkup for Local Concept
Local Concept offers language translation and localization to companies whose markets, products and customers are spread around the globe, and their marketing message must be correctly translated into a variety of languages. After developing LinkUp, an application which allows users to link notebook computers to their HP Touchsmart, Local Concept client HP needed to edit and re-time the audio track of the product demonstration videos since they were to be distributed in ten different languages.
Local Concept awarded this project to Planet Post and their producers worked closely with PP editor Kyle Hoekstra to accurately edit the audio track so that the correct product information, description and instructions were always in sync on screen regardless of the language spoken.
